LOL. While I know this is fake, a lot of it rings true on so many levels.

Allergic to Wifi? Huh

Posted by NuRD under Technology

I got a kick out of this. A guy claims he must avoid public places because he is allergic to wifi.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but this should be fairly easy to debunk. Radio waves have been in use for a VERY VERY long time with no ill effects. E.g. Radio Stations, TV Stations, walkie talkies, cordless phones and so on. In fact, there are quite a few cordless phones that operate in the same frequency range as wi-fi connections. Hell, even microwaves operate in the 2.4Ghz specture to heat food (although it is not limited to 2.4Ghz). Wi-fi connections use, at most, a MAX of 1 Watt, whereas the typical microwave uses around 700-1200 watts.

I think someone has been hitting the crack pipe regularly… :D

Check this out. Its a video of a WWII game (Ruse) on a touchscreen table.

Between Project Natal and Touchscreens, I definitely see gaming going to the next level within the next 10 years or so.

For those of you that are not aware of what Project Natal is, its a body, voice, and facial recognition device for the Xbox 360 that is due to be released in the 2nd half of 2010.

The below video is from Microsoft’s E3 2009 presentation showing off the many different features/functionality of Project Natal.

None the less, I can’t wait for the actual product.
